In the early days after becoming an independent 501(c)3, newly appointed Executive Director Laura Peterson reached out to Sister Mary Tacheny, co-founder of CESRM, to ask if she would share some background regarding the formation of CESRM to share with the Board to give them an idea of the history and legacy behind Living Earth Center's formation.  

With Sister Mary's passing in December of 2023 having this document has become even more precious to us at Living Earth Center.  Sister Mary was more than just one of the co-founders of CESRM, she remained active in the work of LEC up until just weeks before her passing.  She was a dear friend to many of us and we are honored to share her story with you.
